As per this couplet Guru Ravidass Ji appeared on 
this earth on 15th Magh Saudi fullmoon day of Bikram Samvat 1433 which coincides with Sunday, the 15th of JANUARY, 1377 A.D. at Seer Govardhanpur a sub-urban area of Benaras. His revered father Santokh Dass Ji and mother Kalsi Devi Ji were happy to receive in their family the smiling sun-like face of Ravidass with eyes full of godly love. This divine gift was meant not only for family of Santokh Dass alone but it was a life-light for mankind as a whole. The brilliance on his face fore-shadowed his future deeds.

What pride is there in calling oneself a chamar? The word chamar is used as an abuse to disgrace anyone. People start aviding the soon one call himself a chamar. All the virtues and even the greatest attributes and qualities of a perrson get lost as soon as he declare himself to be chamar. This is an observed fact and not just a false statement. In public, in society, in office and everywhere in India the name chamar itself is the most untouchable and desp;ised word. Why ARE THE CHILDREN FORCED INTO THIS UNNECESSARY HUMILIATIION WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT CHAMAR’S JOB OR LEATHER RELATED WORKS?.This name may discarded sooner the better becouse the chamar name itself provocate sense of disregard to chamar woman. She is taken as the person of most corrupt character alover the website. These issues have to be taken up very seriously rather than sticking unnecessarily to rigid name and getting humiliated even at the hands of the worst kind of a person.
